38 km north-west of Rovaniemi, L.Palojärvi 30 m (length 5 km, width 1 km), very shallow shore, moraine bottom (water sometimes brings mud), own boat. Air source heat pump in living room (only for extra heating). Log cottage 1995, large living room, cooking corner. Upstairs 4 sleeping alcoves with own doors, each with 2 beds. Open porch, balcony, sauna (electric stove), washroom (shower cubicle), dressing room. Cooking corner renovated in 2017. Separate summer sauna (wood-burning stove and hot water tank on stove), sauna has no dr essing room, water has to be carried from lake. Shore with roofed fireplace for use only in summer. Kindly use only one basket fire wood per day for summer sauna and roofed fireplace. Thank you.

Spacious cottage in quiet location on lake shore. The cottage is well suited for watching the Northern Lights when they occur. 150 € security deposit should be paid on arrival. Payment only in cash. Caravans, camping or mobile homes are not allowed on the plot. Rovaniemi city 38 km, Ounasvaara ski resort and golf course 42 km, Arctic Circle, Father Christmas/Santa Claus Village and Santapark 48 km, airport 48 km. Connecting track from cottage to main snowmobile track Rovaniemi - Pello -Ylitornio.

  The cottage is somewhat ovepriced since it has a few shortcomings. While there are four bedrooms and it technically accommodates eight, poor ventilation and a lack of soundproofing pose a problem. At this price, one might expect an upstairs WC.
