Magnificent log cabin on the shores of Lake Saimaa, with stunning views over the wide open water! Located 50 km northeast of Savonlinna, on the Orivesi/Paasselkä waterfront (40m away). The shore has a gently deepening, mostly rocky bottom, with a gravel/rock base at the swimming area. A rowing boat is available for use.

This Kontio log cabin, built in 2010, features a spacious combined kitchen/living room with a high ceiling, creating a sense of space. The ground floor has two separate bedrooms, providing privacy and peace for rest. Both bedrooms have double beds. The bathroom includes a toilet, shower, and washing machine. The large loft, accessed by somewhat steep stairs, has two separate beds. A large covered balcony/terrace faces the lake, offering beautiful views of Lake Saimaa. The balcony/terrace has a dining table set for six.

At the shore, there is a separate lakeside sauna with a fireplace room. The sauna is heated by a wood-burning stove and includes a shower and a small porch. The sauna has electricity and running hot and cold water. In front of the sauna, there is a new terrace with a garden swing and a sun lounger.

The grill shelter features a traditional Finnish grill, allowing for delicious meal preparation even in rainy weather. Additionally, there is a composting toilet at the shore, complementing the cabin's indoor toilet.

Part of the large yard is lawn, while the rest is in a natural state. A boardwalk leads from the cabin's terrace/balcony to the lakeside sauna and the shore. Please note that the boardwalk can be slippery after rain.

Note: This property does not have a television, offering the opportunity for a digital detox if desired!

Two bicycles are available, making it easy to explore the surrounding area while enjoying the outdoors. The cabin also has a ping pong table, which fits in the living room and can be moved to the garage if needed.
