The old main building of the Niemi farm, built in the 19th century, is located 69 km southwest of Oulu, in an idyllic courtyard, in its own peace on the edge of the Siikajoki estuary nature reserve (Siikajoki approx. 50 m). The building was last renovated in 2010. The riverbank is deep and has a clay bottom, the water level can vary. Pier, own rowing boat and a small electric outboard motor. The beach is not suitable for swimming, but about 15 km from the sea there are shallow, child-friendly sandy beaches. The large living room has a sofa bed and both bedrooms have a double bed and a single bed. There is also a cot available for the smallest in the family. The small kitchen has modern appliances (wood heated kitchen stove is not in use) and there is room for more people to eat at the table in the living room bar. The house has 2 air source heat pumps. Hallway and glass porch, shower cubicle in the toilet. In the courtyard (approx. 30 m) there is an old wood-heated, modest sauna, where you can get sweet steams. The water in the washroom is heated in a wood heated water tank.

A very old house and yard in its own peace on the edge of the Siikajoki estuary nature reserve. In the estuary area, several riverbeds in the river. The estuary is rich in birds and a good fish stock. 1.5 km to the sea. Fishing association's hut 1 km away. The magnificent sandy beaches of Tauvo and Varesäikkä are located by the sea about 15 km from the cottage. Both beaches are shallow and suitable also for families with small children. The house is suitable for those who long for rural peace and do not require luxury. Families with children or dogs and fishermen in particular have liked the environment. Raahentienoon Golf 6 km. Basic groceries can be bought at the village shop, 5 km away. A better selection of shops can be found from Raahe 27 km. Oulu 69 km. Owner's farm 3 km away. The house is available for rent from spring to fall.
