Drinking water should be fetched from the village shop (300 m). Kustula is renovated and traditional cabin. An affordable alternative in idyllic Kierinki village, which is nationally significant landscape area in Central Lapland. Kierinki is one of the few villages saved from the devastation of war in Lapland. There are services like village shop, café, art gallery, private restaurant small hotel, holiday apartments, program service companies offering nature experiences and snowmobile rental in the village. All the services mentioned above can be arranged by the owner. The village is also a home for highland cattle (Kierinki Highland). Highland cattle are living nearby the village in the species-specific environment. Snowmobile trail network passes through the village shop. There is a fuel sales in the village shop. Therefore, this destination is ideal for snowmobilers. Several other activities available like hunting/fishing possibilities and organized excursions (for example, snowmobile safaris, dog sledding and fishing trips). There are many cultural events arranged in the village too. Guests can order breakfast and other catering services from the owner. The restaurant next to the village shop is cozy and private restaurant named Hietalan talo, which serves Lappish food in authentic and atmospheric milieu. If you order catering services, food will be served either in village shop restaurant or in Hietalan talo private restaurant. Hunting: Small game hunting area on state owned lands, 2613 Maunu (see www.eraluvat.fi) within 15 km distance. Other hunting destinations 3606 Vasaselkä and 3617 Pomo-Rajala can be easily reached too.
