Cottage is located on border of Pyhä-Luosto national park. Surroundings are old-growth forest in a natural state. There is a television set in the cottage, but the signal might occasionally be weak due to the location of the cottage. Amethyst mine 10 km and amethyst spa 4.5 km, Horse riding opportunities 10 km, Sodankylä 35 km. Ski cafe Torvisen Maja 100m (open during the winter season).

Oikea mökkiloma. Ei liian moderni mökki. Vähän ahdas ( ehkä kalusteita liikaa) Oikea mökkitunnelma.

Rauhallinen perusmökki kahdelle hengelle, mökissä liikaa turhaa rompetta ja omille tavaroille ei säilytys tilaa muuten kuin olohuoneen kerrossängyissä. Sähköjohtoja hurjan paljon ja lisäpattereita myös, pikkurempalla ja kunnon siivouksella mökkiin saisi enemmän mukavuutta. Puusauna oli mahtava.
