Accommodation information
90 km north of Rovaniemi. Lake Unarinjärvi 20 m (length 20 km, breadth 5 km), shallow water, firm sandy bottom. Own boat and pier. Wooden cabin 1992, renovated 2016, living room/kitchen, bedroom with 2 beds, bedroom with a double bed, sleeping loft with 4 beds, washroom, glassed-in porch, open veranda. In addition, a separate sauna building with a steam room (wood stove), bathroom (shower) and living room with fireplace and terrace. Charging an electric car must always be agreed with the owner in advance. Pets are allowed for an additional fee (the additional fee is valid for reservations made after 9.3.23).

Villa Unari is a cozy and well-equipped 85 m2 cabin located by the beautiful lake Unarijärvi near the mouth of the river Meltausjoki. On the ground floor, living room, living room/kitchen with fireplace (for example, including kettle, toaster, 100 l chest freezer and smart-tv). Two renovated bedrooms, WC and shower and cooling porch. On the upper floor, spacious lofts and living areas. 8 beds and 4 extra beds by using sofa beds. Next to the cabin, there is a wood-heated lakeside sauna with a separate washing area, fireplace room and laundry facilities. Lake Unarinjärvi is a clean, large and fish-rich lake (perch, pike, whitefish, pikeperch and vendace). River Meltausjoki and its rapids offer nice challenges for fishermen trying to catch graylings. Boat, outboard motor and fishing gear can be rented from the owner. Private sand beach offers a comfortable space for hobbies, camping and beach life. In winter, there is a cross-country ski trail maintained by the village association. There are also several routes for snowmobiles in the area. Nature, forests and hills offers a great opportunity for outdoor activities and hiking all year round. The owners live across the field, 90 km to Rovaniemi, 140 km to Levi, 95 km to Luosto and 75 km to Sodankylä.

The location is placed in a beautiful setting very near to the lake. The house is spacious, and we liked very much that the sauna is placed in a own building and offers a lot of space, too. All very well equipped, we miss nothing and reallly enjoyed our holidays. Very helpful and friendly owners. We would fully recommend the location.

Mökki siisti ja kodikas, hyvin varusteltu, astianpesu, pyykinpesu- ja kuivaus ja astiasto riittävä. Saunarakennus on super, takkatupa, puukiuas, lattialämmitys ja suihku. Ympäristö luonnon mukainen, puhdasta ilmaa ulkoilla monella eri tavalla.

Viehättävä ja kodikas rantamökki monilla mukavuuksilla, rauhallisessa paikassa. Hyvä puusauna ja upeat vaaranäköalat järven yli. Sekä ihmiset että koirakaverit viihtyivät vuodenvaihteen yli erittäin hyvin!
