Combined living room & kitchen, with sofa bed for 1-2 person, loft with two bedrooms, both with 2 beds + sofa bed for 1-2 persons. Sauna (electric heating), washroom, dressing rom, toilet. Porch. Camp fire place. Charcoal grill on the terrace (guest brings charcoal and ignition fluid). Air source heat pump.

Kajaani, 70 km, Sotkamo 25 km. Vuokatti ski slope, cross-country ski trail Sotkamo 25 km. Spa / Golf 33 km Holiday Club Katinkulta. Hiidenportti National Park (old-growth forests and ravines) about 20 km. Nature trail "Tipasojan luontopolku" (length 4 km) about 700 m. Own beach 20 m, a boat available (no possibility for outboard motor rental). Barbecue shelter in shared use. The area has nice facilities for fishing (Välikoski). Possibility rent Smoke saunas (for 5 persons and 20 persons), ordered at extra fee straight from the cottage owner. Saunas distance from the cottage about 20 m. Please, notice that there might be other guests at the smoke sauna at the same time as guests at Karpalo cottage. Shared barbecue hut is located between these 2 saunas. Cottage final cleaning and bed linen can be booked at extra cost. Pets allowed at extra price.

Erittäin toimiva ja tilava mökki rauhallisella sijainnilla. Läheisellä pellolla näkyi peuroja ruokailemassa. Keittiö ja astiasto ja sängyt sekä petivaatteet uusittu varmaan äskettäin, mikä yllätti positiivisesti. Samoin saunan kiuas oli uusi. Lisämaksullista savusaunaa ei käytetty.
