27 northwest from Suomussalmi, Lake Iso-Pehmeäjärvi 35m (length of the lake 650 m and width 250 m), dredged, quite deep beach, hard bottom, a pier, own rowing boat. Log cabin, built in 2014. Kitchen-living room with convertible sofa, bed room with convertible bed, open terrace. Separate sauna building with steam room, dressing corner and small living room. Upper bed of bunk bed and wood stove in sauna building's living room. Sauna water has to be carried from the lake, distance 90 m. Lean-to on the lake shore. Drinking water from the natural spring (distance 600 m, spring water has been examined in 06/2018). Doghouse and and dog cage in the yard. Please notice that dogs are allowed to bring only to sauna building's living room. It is forbidden to take dogs or other pets to the main building.

WILDERNESS CABIN: Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. Cabin is not preheated before customer’s arrival. Cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that. Due to long distances maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the owner immediately on arrival by calling. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented). This cabin requires outdoor attitude and skills (how to make fire, for example). If you’re not sure, please consider another option. Water is not examined yearly so boiling the drinking water before use is recommended. The cottage is electrified with solar panels. Tv, fridge and socket (for example to charge phone) works with solar power. The cottage yard can be reached by car also in winter time. No possibility for car heating in winter time. Wood stoves in the main building and sauna building's living room for heating. Also a gas heater in main building's bed room. Smoker box which can be used in gas grill. Fishing: Whitefish, pike and perch in Lake Iso-Pehmeäjärvi. Fishing with one rod needs national fisheries management fee, please check www.eraluvat.fi/en/fishing.html. Please notice that Fisheries management fee does not allowe fishing in Saaripuro creek which starts from and empties into the Lake Iso-Pehmeäjärvi. Hunting: Small game hunting in state owned land: license area 5605 Länsi-Suomussalmi. Hunting area begins at the lake shore (www.eraluvat.fi).

  Siisti ja hyvin varusteltu mökki pienen lammen rannalla. Kiva sijainti. Saunan ja ulkohuussin sijainti tontilla hieman kummallinen. Mökki lämpenee kamiinalla nopeasti mutta myös jäähtyy pakkasella yhtä nopeasti. Yhteydenotto mökin omistajaan sujui hyvin.
