Charming red cabin near the river Iijoki. The river is famous for fishing, the rapid fishing area (middle part) is right next to the cabin. Reindeer can be seen near the cabin in winter. Smoke sauna by the river is rented directly from the owner. 23 km to the southwest from Taivalkoski, river Iijoki 80 m (low-traffic village road between the cabin and the river), dipping place on the shore of the smoke sauna, rowing river boat available. Wooden house, built in the 1950s, renovated and renewed later. In the living room there are 2 sofa beds that can be spread out, the bedroom has a double bed. The cabin also has sauna, washroom and separate WC. One separate air-filled mattress as an extra bed. Mattress can be placed freely if needed. In the yard, fence and doghouse for dog. Pets are allowed, but they must not disturb the reindeer. The local village road that follows the bank of the river Iijoki runs near the cabin, distance is about 10 m.

Ala-Lassi is suitable as a comfortable base in summer and winter. The closest fishing spots are next door, but thanks to the village road, you can reach many other fishing spots of rive Iijoki quite easily. The most common catch is large grayling or trout. Middle part rapids of the river Iijoki are well suited for fly fishing. Fishing permits, see destination 5573 (www.eraluvat.fi). Hunting: From here, it is easy to reach several good state-owned hunting areas located in Taivalkoski and Pudasjärvi municipalities.   Hyvin varusteltu mökki ja mukavat omistaja joihin saa tarvittaessa heti yhteyttä. Oli ihana, jouluinen tunnelma ja erittäin viihtyisä.

  Talonpoikaishenkinen ja samalla lämminhenkinen talo. Erikoisen hyvää on ollut mökin isännän vieraanvaraisuus ja joustavuus, mistä on jäänyt hyvä mieli. Yhdellä hehtaarilla on sekä talo tykötarpeineen että Iijoen törmä Iijokineen joten alue on perin monimuotoinen.

  Oikein idyllinen maalaispihapiiri ja viihtyisä majoitus mummola-tunnelmalla. Olo oli hyvin tervetullut ja mökistä löytyi kaikki tarvittava rauhoittumiseen, kokkailuun ja leppoisan kesäviikonlopun viettoon. Lämpimät suositukset paikalle!
