Traditional, renovated farm house, built in 1948, small lake Savenkaita 200 m, rowing boat, pier. Beach is hard, silt bottom, shallow, slightly deepening. In a house there are big livingroom with convertible sofa, kitchen, 2 bedrooms with double bed, shower, toilet, electric sauna. Gas grill. Water in the tap from well. Additionally in summer use wood-heated small sauna by the lake Savenkaita, distance 200 m. Note! Check-out in July at 11 am.

Savenkaita is suitable for families with small children because of the beach, which is located a little bit further away from the house but has a slightly deepening bottom. Sauna by the lake is in summer use and it's renovated in spring 2014. There is a pier and stairs to the lake from it. The neighboring cottage is located 30m from the beach sauna. For fishermen the lake offers pike and perch when lure fishing or angling. Access By car to the cottage yard in summer and winter. The village road passes the cottage, but the forest is in between. Minimum reservation time is 7 days from the middle of June until the middle of August. Owner charges 25e for pets (no more than 2 pets allowed). Kuopio 85 km, Joensuu 105 km, Varkaus 75 km, rapids of Karvio 30 km, Valamo Monastery 35 km, Lintula Convent 15 km, Rotkolaakso 35 km, Kolovesi national park 65 km. Cross country skiing tracks in Karvio and Tuusniemi 30 km.
