This log cabin is located on the shore of Lake Kotajärvi 25m. Pier, sanded bottom, rowing boat and life jackets for 4. Cabin has combined kitchen/living room with convertible sofa, sleeping alcove with 120 cm wide bed, loft with 2 mattresses and sauna with dressing room. Solar panel lighting/solar electricity system. It is offering power for low consumption devices (charger, laptop, radio, etc.), wood-heated stove/baking oven, kitchen sink with sewer, water pipe from the lake (in summer use), can be used for washing. Gas grill and smoke oven. Own water well. On the yard there is a separate outbuilding as an alternative sleeping place for 2 persons (only in summer use).

This cabin is well-suitable for fishermen thanks to the good fishing possibilities in lake Kotajärvi as well as in the vast lakes Suvasvesi and Juojärvi nearby. Water in the well is not tested annually, so we recommend boiling it before drinking. Distances: Karvio grocery store 21km, Valamo monastery 20 km, Lintula convent 15 km, Tuusniemi church , grocery stores and Heritage museum 30 km, Kolovesi National Park approx. 70 km. Cabin can be reached by car. This cabin requires outdoor attitude and skills (how to make fire, for example). If you’re not sure, please consider another option.
