Wihvelikko is a log cabin with a loft, completed in 2006, located in Tuusniemi near the Valamo and Lintula monasteries and Karvionkoski, on the shores of Lake Suvasvesi. The swimming area will be cleared in summer 2026.

The ground floor of the cabin includes a combined kitchen/living room and a sleeping alcove with a double bed. The upper floor (accessible by steep stairs) has open-plan living and sleeping areas with 4 beds. There is a traditional wood-heated sauna and a dressing room. Water for use must be carried from the lake, and drinking water should be brought with you. There is an outdoor composting toilet. A spacious, covered open terrace extends to a large, comfortable pier with a gas grill. A rowing boat is available at the lakeshore. The shore is sandy and clay-like near the boat area, with a separate jumping spot.

By summer 2026, a lean-to shelter and a yard sauna with a sauna room featuring a double bed will be completed in the yard area. The sauna does not yet have electricity. The yard sauna offers a beautiful view of the evening sun.

A hot tub can be rented directly from the owner, and guests must carefully follow the instructions provided by the owner.

Final cleaning and bed linens are not available at this property. Please bring your own sheets and towels, and ensure thorough cleaning of the main cabin, yard sauna, terraces, and lean-to shelter on your departure day.
