45 km to the northeast from Hämeenlinna, lake Kastanajärvi 40 m, (length 700 m, width 300 m), hard sand bottom, quickly deepening. Pier and own rowing boat. The pier has swimming ladder. Water depth at the end of pier is almost 2 m. This object contains two buildings. Bigger log cabin (80 m²) built in the year 2013, and wooden garden cabin (25 m²) built in 2008. Log cabin (80 m²): living room, kitchenette, 2 bedrooms with a double bed, air source heat pump, table and kettle grill on the terrace. Puucee. Garden cabin (25 m²): on the ground floor living area/kitchen with spreadable sofa bed for two, on the loft there are beds for five, two double beds with thick mattresses and one single bed. Upstairs quite steep stairs. The loft is relatively low, max height is about 160 cm. In front of the garden cabin, there is a covered terrace with table group and lake view. There is also a wood heated sauna in the garden cabin. Washing water comes to the sauna from own well and water will be heated in the tank located into sauna stove (no shower). Note! Sauna located in garden cabin is always on use, but sauna and shower located in the main cabin are not available for customers due to small waste water tank!

Place is rented for families, couples and others who will enjoy a calm holiday in the cabin. Nice and very spacious two cabin complex, which can easily accommodate a larger group. In a beautiful and calm location at the lakeside of Kastanajärvi. Yard is clean, forested and sloped. Path goes to the beach and the pier. Two separate bedrooms in the main cabin and the garden cabin give you privacy. You can comfortably enjoy barbecue food on the main cabin’s wide terrace area. Note. There is 150 euro key deposit payment, which must be paid in cash on arrival. Ski resort of Sappee 32 km, Evo hiking area 35 km, Tuulonen shopping center 22 km, Hämeenlinna 45 km, Tampere 80 km, Helsinki 145 km, Turku 185 km, Lahti 70 km.

Mökkiin oli kunnolla panostettu. Keittiössä oli mukava tehdä ruokaa, koska varustetaso oli 99% (astianpesukone puuttui), jonka tiesimme. Ranta oli hyvä uida. Kehut sängyille mökissä.
