Final Cleaning 110 €The cozy log semi-detached house, completed in 2015, is located north of Ruka in a peaceful and beautiful forest landscape.
The cottage offers comfortable and modern settings for a holiday all year round, and there is room for up to seven people.
Downstairs there is a bedroom with a 160 cm wide double bed. The living room has a fold-out divan sofa bed that can comfortably sleep two people. Upstairs there is a separate bedroom with two beds and an open loft with one bed. For younger holidaymakers, there is also a travel cot with mattress, high chair and potty.
The equipment of the cottage makes your holiday easy and pleasant. The living room and kitchen are equipped with high-quality Iittala and Arabia kitchen appliances, and for relaxation, the cottage has an electric sauna and an atmospheric Tulikivi corner fireplace. Underfloor heating and mechanical ventilation ensure comfort in all weather conditions. The cottage has wireless 5G internet access and a Smart TV, so connections and entertainment are in order even for remote work or movie nights.
A cozy barbecue shelter located outside allows for togetherness regardless of the season.
The cottage is surrounded by a peaceful and beautiful alpine landscape, which offers a wonderful setting for enjoying nature, hiking and berry picking. In winter, a ski track, which is part of Ruka's extensive ski track network, runs next to the cottage and is suitable for both traditional and freestyle skiing. The nearest Ruka lift is about 8 km away and Ruka village is 9 km away. The Karhunkierros hiking trail is only a kilometer away, and the Kuusamo rapids are located 10–20 km away.
The Kuusamo Tropiikki spa is about 30 km away, the airport is 34 km away, and the snowmobile trail is 700 meters away. The area also has excellent fishing waters.
The beach is about 300 meters away from the cottage along a path, and the cottage has access to the beach. There is a pier and its own rowing boat on the beach. Konttaisenjärvi is located about 50 meters away, and it is about a kilometer long and 500 meters wide, the shallow and hard-bottomed sandy beach is also very suitable for children.
